Had a real real bad week, but it's getting better.
Trying to get into project mode! My roommate and I have another video game project to work on for a while and then abandon... He's been working quite a lot on it, though. I won't say anything about it for fear of somehow jinxing it.
One of my jobs is to write the music system. Actually, he'll be doing all the boring DirectSound stuff... I am working on a file format, parser, and a SML MIDI file library for importing my tunes. Hopefully the SML stuff will one day be incorporated into a file-formats library so nobody ever has to write this code again (yes, that fun!).
Otherwise I'm biding my time, TAing the password-protected 15-312 and waiting to hear back from graduate schools.
