Read on CNN a story about a pilot whose plane crashes in the Rockies; he survives with his passengers and then walks 8 miles in the snow until he gets a cellular signal to call police, then comes back on a helicopter which also crashes, and then he survives that and they all make it out. There's one for the grand kids.
