For Pi Day (3/14) this year I rounded up about 20 people and wrote 4096 digits of the decimal expansion of pi across campus. We also painted the fence. There's some more info and a lot more pictures here!

What's this I've been hearing about a lobster guy with a house behind Doherty??? It's like all over the news.

Lobster boy...

A "performance art" piece where some dude dresses in a lobster costume and lives in his self-built shack (actually quite nice ... multi-story and everything) behind doherty. He doesn't leave the shack or talk to anybody. He's getting a SURG grant or something for it, and I think independent study credit. A lot of people are pissed off about that, but I think it's pretty funny...
