Here are some more XX-brief summaries of movies I've seen recently.

Mulan - Typical Disney fare. The characters are less memorable than usual, though, and Mulan is nowhere near as hot as Ariel. About a chick who pretends to be a guy so that she can fight in wars and fit in.

American History X - Ed Norton plays an introspective neo-nazi trying to set things straight. It's not hard to tell what the moral of this one will be, but nonetheless it was a good movie.

Frequency - This is a movie about time-travelling radio waves. It's hard to make a consistent time-travel movie, and they certainly haven't, but it had its moments.

Camp Kill Yourself - Bam Margera and friends acting like idiots and hurting themselves. This is a "movie" form of MTV's Jackass, essentially; in fact, I recall that the show had several segments from this with expletives and nudity deleted. It was pretty funny in 2000.

Exit Wounds - Steven Segal is another invincicop. What happens is, Steven uses more force than is necessary, so his boss (Jack Dalton from Macgyver!!!) makes him a traffic cop. But then, what do you know, everwhere Steve goes, he runs into some sort of drug deal going down, or hijacking, or whatever. Don't worry, though, he breaks their arms and shoots 'em. This movie is 100% pure turd.

The Jackal - Bruce Willis is playing the quiet Bad Guy in this "Orchestrated Crime" movie. He's "the Jackal". He wants to assassinate someone, but Richard Gere ("the Irish Guy") wants to kill him first. This movie was not so good.
