Today had beautiful weather in Pittsburgh, so we went on a trip to Schenley park today to try out my new(ish) macro lens in the wild. I took a load of photos; my favorites are now in my photo gallery in the New! section.

I loooove the moss photos. I miss moss. There isn't much moss in Phoenix, too dry here. I actually took photos of moss before I moved from Pennsylvania becuse I knew that I'd miss it. There was some lovely moss growing between the steps at my old job that I would stare down at while I ate my lunch. I would watch the little wandering bugs, giants on the velvety green moss carpet. The people that I worked with thought that I was a bit nutty.
