RDR 2005 Tees

I always tell myself I'll remember to link these things up after the event passes (not wanting to "spoil" the surprise), but then I forget. No more.
This year I made the "Random Distance Run" t-shirt design, just like the last two years. The random distance run is a new tradition in the CS department; we line up on the track on race day, and the length of the run is determined by the roll of two enormous fuzzy dice (rolled by one of our local theory luminaries). The front of the shirt depicts an unlucky roll. The back of the shirt is filled with groanworthy computer science in-jokes set in the context of fictitious "sponsors" of the race. Since I don't think I posted them, you can see designs from 2003 and 2004, too. | |

Is registration still open? |
Registration is still open, up until the race day, even.
If you are not a good runner, then please make sure to sign up. Because I fear I will be the last one to finish. This is a very rational fear; I think I'd take at least a minute longer to finish than the last person to finish last year.
Tom: I like the shirt. :)

Man, last year I was second-to-last. I was pretty out of shape, had a bunch of crap in my pockets, and didn't think to get water before I started running, but I also sucked. Please, more sucking runners! |
Also, shorter distance! |
I think there's a good chance I am a sucky runner, and I will probably sign up. Hooray for failure! :) |
YES |
All the posters say DEC 05 at the top |
Dec 5 is the name of our social organization. Anyway, I didn't make the posters (maybe you are just messing with me, I dunno). |
