Furnace Trail Photos
(07 Mar 2006 at 00:05) |
As promised, here are pictures from yesterday's Furnace Trail hike. I think there's some pretty nice stuff in there.
I've realized that one of the reasons that uploading photos is so painful for me is that I obsess over hard drive space on spacebar.org, so I am very careful about sizes and compression settings (but simultaneously picky about quality). The reason I obsess is that I only have like 180mb left. I wonder if I can stretch this computer's life over the remainder of grad school or not... it's hard to justify the pain of an upgrade when the thing's been on pretty much continuously since 1996 without any troubles. You know? |

Yeah, nice set. |
"Pretty much continuously", huh? :) |
Couldn't you just buy an external USB hard drive? That would be kind of like not messing with the computer itself. |
That might work if this computer had USB and if I believed USB worked on linux 2.2. ;) |
Whoa... |
Keep on going!
And a big hug (-: |
Your next best bet is a mercury delay line attached with some twine or somethin. Remember: twine is highly toxic in liquid form. |
I was thinking (although it's a bit more work) if you run out of HD space, you can store your pictures on flickr but still post your galleries on the spacebar site.
of course, I think the mercury/twine line is a great idea. |
why don't you just give in and call it the jail trail like everyone else |
I like to have two names for everything |
