While looking for an antonym for "cut the mustard" (any suggestions?) I found this amusing list of words with two antonymic meanings. (Example: "fast" means both "rapid" and "unmoving".) |

How about "bandage the mustard"? |
I nominate "missed the mark," "struck out,"..."missed the field goal,"
or for a completely different focus,
"relished her looks".
Then again there's always, "didn't cut the mustard." |
Well, I actually needed something more like an adjective, so I went with "minor league." Thank you for the suggestions! |
