[ T7ES: Gnocci Dokie ]
Ooo I really like this one. Favorite T7ES since Rutgers! |
| |
...and I just found a bunch of them on the actual untitled.gif site (http://untitledgif.org/mp3/). Is that all of them? |
| |
Oh, and if the proper pronunciation of gnocci is the rhyming one then I have been shaming my ancestors by pronouncing it with an "aw" sound this entire time. |
| |
One page from 2005 and none of the download links work. Damnation! |
| |
Hooray! Now get http://untitledgif.iuma.com/ back up (or equivalent) and maybe then my rabid music thirst will be slaked.
I just realized I should probably check if that got picked up by the Internet Archive, so I will do that now. |

Hey, those opening chords are epic enough for me. I love the (I think I'm hearing this right) picardy third/i -> I thing too.
Also, I can understand that line, but I'm not a guitar player, and I'm having trouble hearing it directly in the song. Does that make me doubly crazy? |

The EADGBE song I did back in 1992 used an arpeggio in the the rhythm guitar, rather than make it the melody: http://nothings.org/music/nothings/10%20-%20nothing%20stays%20the%20same.mp3
E-B-G-D-G-A-D-G in the main part (slightly different in the harmonics), but even with the sustained arpeggio it's a sequence of chords so it avoids the Em7add11.
Then again I have another "song" which consists of 10 minutes of me jamming on a 12-string guitar with all every other string tuned down a half-step. After you listen to the E-major shape on that over and over, it starts to sound normal...

I thought it was something like Ethan Ate Dad's Guitar...something something, but maybe that was just me. |

It may not be epic and awesome, like "Theme from the Goog", but it's still pretty good and pretty good is good enough for me! Also, I like that your singles have cover art now. Even "Theme from rt2i" sort of did. |

I will cave to these demands! |

[ New! Escape 200704130 ]
Gary: Only the automated spam comments. They show up all the time on this post and others. Real comments I keep and treasure. :)
For the overwrite: I agree, it should prompt you before overwriting data, and even then move the old data to the attic. I added a to-do for this, and sorry for the loss. |
| |
Why not add an overwrite window? I made a good level in my computer as mylevels\13, and I forgot the level filename, I made another level as mylevels\13, and it deletes the good level and replaced with a new one. In that case there is a "confirm overwrite" window when replacing the level file with a new one. |
| |
Tom: Why do you delete the comments that Escape is a good game? |
| |
|
|
| |
Oh, in order to further cement my fan cred I demand that you post mp3s of Muse or vampires are going to be pissed that we stole their shit and I Get Crunk, they sound pretty shitty on Myspace. |
| |
Don't fret guys, it's just ill-formatted web spam. I deleted it as usual. |
| |
Tom: Add URL data detection. |
| |
Gary: Copy it to URL bar and search for it because your search engine decodes that format |
| |
See, I told you Adhesion was a better supporter than me. Heh. Well, I saw the live video for "Unfairbanks" and have concluded that I do enjoy this project. Godspeed! (But, you know, without the black emperor.) |
| |
Good luck on your awesome gig, I'm sure you'll blow everyone away. You should sneak someone in to surreptitiously record it. Just make sure not to take one of those "must get 5 stars on every song" offers (that one sucks pretty hard) and you'll be well on your way to acquiring a van and soundman and private jet and other rock'n'roll accessories. |
| |
Robert: I can't read because it has other symbols like +, % and numbers. |

Well yeah, we are serious in the sense that we practice regularly and write songs and hope that people enjoy them. The arrangement has plenty of irony (like usual) and humor (like usual) but it's not like a joke on the listener or anything. (Underground Onions wasn't supposed to be a joke on the listener either; it was us legitimately screwing around for a couple of hours, but the results are sorts unlistenable, true. Don't hold that against other projects ;)) The emphasis for me with SR&SR is on the live performance, since that's one really different and great thing about playing with others. Most of my solo thingies have been about recording. Obviously feel free to ignore or dislike whatever projects you want, but I think some of our newer songs are really great. I do hope to do recordings of them eventually. |

Like many of you, I am soooo glad I am not alone. My husband woke me up this morning and told me not shut the bathroom door because 2 mushrooms had grown in the wall overnight!
We live in a home that is about 65 years old, we rent, and had called the rental company about 3 times about a leak from our bathtub, whenever we would use the shower water would trickle behind the tub and come out a crack in the tiling in the wall/floor! disterbing in itself. add on NO ventilation at all and get moldy ceilings as well.
so I found it very scary that there could be some possibility that there is black mold or some hazardous mold/mushroom spores growing in my home!
I am going to try the vinager solution, and post back. |
| |
Are you fairly serious about the SR&TSR project? I have to admit I've kinda ignored it because I thought it was going to be like Underground Onions. I think I listened to the giving $43 billion to charity blues a while back and concluded it was a joke band or something. This sounds kind of cruel from someone who's a fan of most of your projects, sorry. If questioned about my bluntness in stating this, I will claim I was drunk.
I am glad that you're playing open mics though, yay. |
