They look fine to me, go with what you know. |

Yeah, up there. I think 40d26'21.32" N 80d01'16.58"W, which is properly Duquesne Heights. It looked kinda new to me. |

My husband and I found a mushroom growing out of the window sill in our kitchen. We haven't had any water damage but there is the possibility that our roof is leaking. We've only had one mushroom. No more have grown yet. Does this mean we have mold? Has anyone had their floors/walls inspected? |

But... it WILL shred important papers quickly and easily -- as well as unadvisedly.

Where is that statue-pair on the cover located? I don't recognize it. From the background I'd say Mt. Washington is a fair bet, but I don't remember ever seeing any statues up there.
|

I have some nasty looking ones in my basement too. I bleached em last night! There discusting! |
| |
For me it remains to be determined, I think. :) |
| |
yeah, i think in a lot of cases you're right. but i do wonder if we mix up emotional with physical fatigue in some performance circumstances. if you're running a marathon, i'm guessing this isn't a huge problem for you! good luck! |
| |
mm: Oh, low blow. I admit a guilty pleasure in "See you Soon" and a handful of other songs. But, you've got way more last.fm Coldplays than me!
mk: Heh, well, sometimes brutal self-criticism does work in a small way (you've probably seen the stereotype of someone sweating at the gym uttering to himself, "You suck, you wimp," etc.) but unfortunately I think the fatigue effect is substantially more physiological there than in emotion wrecks and therapy sessions! |
| |
oh interesting. i've heard of a psychologist intentionally telling his patients not to disclose certain things, because they would tend to disobey him, and disclose, which is what he wanted. maybe you're telling a part of yourself 'be more sad' and it's similarly disobeying.
i wonder if that strategy would work for sports performance. 'i want to feel more tired than i am,' the athlete said to himself, and his body disobeyed. |
| |
Maybe your shuffle breaks because your music is a little too awesome. Maybe you should listen to more Coldplay. |
| |
Yeah, it is one of the best ways to listen to music. I wish my shuffle didn't keep breaking. |
| |
Nice song. I've gotten into running recently too, but I'm still overdependent on incredibly awesome running megamixes for energy. |
| |
Yes, like that. =) Same amount of vibrating. |
| |
No, not a breakup. Weirder than that. Nonetheless, I appreciate the concerns and well-wishes.
I dunno if I can claim to be in tip-top shape, but it is a personal best, at least. Still, I'm happy to inspire anybody to do any positive thing!! |

It sounds like you had a breakup recently. ::hugs::, if you do that kind of thing.
I think I know what you mean, although you successfully confused me, which was probably your intent. You vent your anger and once you've done so, it all feels kind of silly.
And good luck in the marathon. I am definitely not to be there, but I do want to start jogging every day again, to be in tip-top shape, as you are. You are an inspiration to me. |

It's my phone, my pocket monster! |

Iamanidiot: ejg, yes I did solve tutorial 21. There are LOTS of levels I have not solved and a couple that are making me want to turn in my IQ at the desk.......
Thank you, ejg, for asking! |

[ New! Escape 200704130 ]
I've been catching up on triage after a long Escape hiatus (only 154 levels left!) and suddenly thought of an idea last night. Would it be feasible to create a "scoreboard" of sorts where competitive Escape players can see how many levels they've completed in triage, how many speedruns they currently hold, etc.? The level completion numbers would most likely have to come from a manual submission within the game, and if it's possible, the speedrun numbers would be pulled from the data on the site. I know Chip's Challenge has a scoreboard which is manually maintained by a scorekeeper - and while CC is different in that rankings on the scoreboardare determined by the number of points one has in the game (in other words, how fast one completes the levels), rankings on an "Escape scoreboard" can be determined by how many levels each player has solved (seeing as how no one has beaten every level yet, and many of us have varying amounts of levels left to complete).
At any rate, it would be neat if we could all see how we're progressing in the game...at least we wouldn't need to take up space discussing it like we did on pieguy's "revenge 2" page! |

I didn't know you had a computer called pokemon! |
| |
Ah. I must have made a mistake and included some stuff that I shouldn't have in that distribution. Thanks for letting me know! |
| |
"Shred documents! Grate cheese! Create hair cuts that are sure to get you noticed! Add fringes to paper, or the bottom of your shirt!" |
| |
I was playing from the binary Linux distribution. I've since downloaded the source and compiled it, so I could take a look at some of the workings.
But the levels I listed above I got when running the binary distribution and selecting the download from internet. After that, I selected Load a level and noticed the mylevels directory with the aforementioned levels. So that directory is either in your binary distribution, or in the server. |
