hehe. The vast majority were hand-clicked into the piano roll editor in Cakewalk (though some were literally played on a keyboard; I think it's easy to tell which ones), then output to a hardware MIDI sound module called the Roland SC-880. It's actually a pretty fancy box, but I almost only use its square and sawtooth waves (Bank #130 has the best ones). Some of the songs are made through my program MidiMML, then played through a NES emulator. Lately I've been working on my own software synthesis which may become a tracker, but there are no songs up using that tech yet.

hey, this stuff is great, but I'm really confused about how you made it! You say you programmed some of it into cakewalk, but where did the actual sounds come from? What synth/softsynth did you use? Or do you have your computer actually hooked up to some console or something?? Loving your tunes!

Okay if your score is above 2000, dont bother posting because chances are, with that score, if you are a hardworker in your studies, then you will go to your "dream" college!! Give others with a lower score a chance, dont try to brag in their faces with your 2100s and 2240s or whatever. Those scores are great, but dont make others feel inferior. And if ppl are saying that they got 1250s and 1340s, why would you guys with high scores ask them if you can get into stanford and princeton with your 2100s? Thats cruel if you ask me.
--Those with low scores, make sure you study harder in your weak areas, without neglecting other areas though and i guarantee your scores will improve. Retake the SATs but not without studying and feeling more confident than the last time you took it. Goodluck and hope you get into the colleges of your choice.

I don't know which one was, I don't like levels with many bots because I have the feeling I cannot control the game, especially when the bots are next to me. Maybe it wasn't a bug, maybe Tom was right, I don't know.If randomly I meet the same problem, be sure this time I'll be able to tell you which level is.

Nicely done!

I don't have any estimate for a new optimizer. I haven't even worked on it at all, except for developing some ideas... it's just a fun weekend project for a future weekend where I've got a hankerin'.

Who are these anoying people who post good SAT scores here? If they brag anonymously on the internet, they must brag anytime they get chance. Relax. SATs aren't everything, and they sure as hell don't give anyone the right to be cocky.

Thanks jonas! I began suspecting something like this after I made that last post. I'll look into specifying an encoding.

Tom 7: you didn't write it. The comment form doesn't have the encoding explicitly specified so the browser assumes it's the same as the encoding of the html where that form is. As that encoding isn't specified either (by the http response header nor meta tags in the html), browsers typically assume it's cp-1252 (but lies and says iso-8859-1) unless you've configured them to something different which people did do back in the days when lots of people put up webpages with national characters without specifying the encoding. Anyway, this means you can type 8859-1 characters (áéíóÁÉÍÓ) in the comment form but if you type anything else (őűŐŰ…–“„”) the browser will still use 8859-1 encoding to submit the form and all bets are off what it will do. Mozilla variants are known to silently convert other characters to ampersand-escapes; whereas links converts them to flying accents but tries not to allow you to enter them in the form at first place.

I dunno, there's something about giving in to the heat that makes it less hellish, like when it's raining and you're like fuck it and you let yourself get completely soaked. You know? To me doing some strenuous stuff and sweating like crazy is the most effective way of dealing with really big heat.

ahyeh, you were going backwards :P

my car's air conditioning is kind of spotty, and that feels kind of hellish, but it's probably nothing compared to running 21 miles in 95 degrees with 80% humidity..

Of course I am escaping the ampersand, but you can probably paste UTF-8 right into this textbox?
