PS, my favorite one is claiming to not be a "person" and the forcefulness with which this is rejected by the courts. |

hey Tom, i just found this page while searching for that little font program you made. it has totally distracted me to see your diverse output. I aspire to be a similar geek "renaissance man," and in particular, here's my music page: htt pee://w w w.mattmontag.com/music
check that out, and in particular, check out the nintendo sonata there. I enjoy your song titles, and all the subtle references to culture i am very familiar with. Ok, going back to explore now. |

[ BAD SAT SCORES ]
Hey just wondering...how similar are your practice SAT scores as compared to your real SAT.....just played around today and gave a practice SAT test without any preperation...got a 2020....is that good??and is it any indication of my real SAT score???...oh and by the way..it will improve right..if I like practice before hand??? |

I am still working hard to beat hunter. In nightmare, my best result is 7:10. . I have played quake3 for an half year. |

Hmm, that difference is probably because of Wowei's patch to allow for international keyboards. I guess I should do that same thing throughout the game, so that it's always dvoark if you're using dvorak. Thanks! |
| |
a minor note, but i'm currently using the dvorak layout on a qwerty keyboard, and to navigate the menus i have to hit the qwerty keys, but in game i have to hit the dvorak keys. |

Indeed, I have already sought, and am now listening, with my Soul. Such a useful friend she is. |

No, I will have to seek... |

[ New! Escape 200704130 ]
Yes, you're right. In a previous version there was a problem where it would sometimes throw out solutions (bookmarks) when it shouldn't... so now it just always saves everything. Fixing this is the highest priority! |
| |
Hi Tom
These bookmark-things are really confusing. It just "bookmarks" whatever I'm doing! Any game I'm playing or trying becomes a bookmark... Even watching a downloaded original solution or speedrun becomes a new bookmark. So downloading existing solutions will "bookmark" them AND consider them as if I had solved the level that way. Watching a speedrun will bookmark it as my own solution, it appears as an "mm-solution". And so I'm deleting bookmarks again and again...
OMG, I can't explain it any better! All I know is: even without me "bookmarking" something, the game just " bookmarks" everything by itself.
Got it?
Watching a speedrun becomes: a NEW bookmark and speedrun made by ME! So I'm trying to just never ever push that button - but still, even without ever pushing the "b" - the game bookmarks WHATEVER!
Bookmarks are great - but now they seem to be "too" great!

The Beach Boys comparison is an interesting one... I never really thought of that. I'll have to check out the Gothic Archies too.
Sophia: have you heard Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton? I've been excited to hear that as well. |

I've been loving that Metric album lately too. |

Heya Tom,
Unfortunately I've nothing new to say about Q3 (or 4 for that matter, tho gotta luv the graphics), so i'll just post this for the hell of it... go the "All Blacks (NZ)" for the world cup of Rugby 2007.
Props to "Pianist" and "Kalypso" for keeping the dream alive... hehe (God it's fun finding this thread). |

[ BAD SAT SCORES ]
try to get your sat score to at least 2200. i f you do, then you would have an excellent chance of getting into an ivy league school. However, sat scores are not the sole defining factor--there are other factors like the college essay, honors and awards, extra-cur, ap scores, etc. My advice: just try to get at least a 730 on each section of the SAT.
You are definitely on the right track!
afterall, i should know; i have just been accepted to Yale. |
| |
Huh, interesting... I have some 6ths stuff but have never really gotten into it. It may be time for some foraging. Did you hear the Gothic Archies? I think it's great.
My friend Chris points out that this song sounds a lot like the Beach Boys's "Then I Kissed Her" (especially) and Sloop John B. I agree.

what a great song. my first exposure to that song was back in 2000 when I saw Dennis Driscoll cover it while opening for Built to Spill at Toad's. I remember coming back to Pittsburgh and rummaging through the MF's back catalogue at WRCT in search of it. I've been on a 6ths "Wasp's Nests" kick lately.
Also glad you are enjoying "The Life Pursuit"! I think it's their best since the "Sinister".
Some recommendations:
-"Old World Underground" by Metric.
-"Writer's Block" by Peter Bjorn & John.
-"The Trials of Van Occupanther" by Midlake...

[ Bathroom? Mushroom! ]
ya, so..... same story, bathroom, shrooms, leaky toilet.......
I have found out that it's best to stop using bleach and house hold chemicals, or at least use sparingly (once every two weeks).... The shrooms grow tolerance to the chemicals. Ha, I really am seriouse, it just sounds conspiratorial.
If you are sick.... sore throat allergy symptoms etc it may be mold and mildew which are common with shrooms and are known to cause health problems.
Sealing off the leak is the first step, then get a dehumidifier (it really work and costs from 150-2000 depening on how large an area), perhaps an air purifier as well, sealing over the grout is a great idea, the grout doesn't stop the shrooms and seems to give them a nice nest.
Also if you have a crawl space under your house, you may be doing a larger battle.
Watch out for black mold it's air born, so you can get it from your neighbor. It causes huge health problems, don't freak out not all black mold is the toxic kind. You would have to get it tested to find out. |

Now see, my mushroom, the second one so far, looks more like pasta previously mentioned here. At first it looked like a claw/hook thing! FREAKED ME OUT! Hubby wouldn't touch it at all. HAHA
Trying to find out how to take care of it. Our landlord is a rude person, who really doesn't care about our well-being (this stems from when the neighbors dog broke through our rotting fence and bit our labrador). She still won't have the fence repaired. So I doubt she would do anything for our bathroom. :P |
