I am currently a freshman in High School, have a 3.5 GPA (two honors classes), and am currently involved in the chess club. I do not take tests well, but I do plan ongetting help from the Princeton Review and doing volunteer work. What are my chances of getting into a top college? |

Oh Sick! I too have the mushroom in the bathroom problem! My family has been living in a tiny 3 bed cottage that we rent for 3 years now and about a year ago I found the first one at the bottom of our stand up shower. I freaked and was so embarressed about it but did some looking online and found nothing. I scraped it up and cleaned as best I could with clorox wipes and lysol. Never have used bleach on them. Seems like every 4 months or so I'll find another one or two in that same spot. They are light to medium brown, small (about an inch wide) and I seem to have had two types I think as I've had some that look like the "bunched up pig skin" and others that look like an "outie belly button".. So frigging gross! I have two right now that I'm about to go get rid of. I guess this time I'll take pictures first like someone above mentioned if you rent. I'll try the salt too! I would say that we do have a mold problem in this house. I have scrubbed dark colored mold out of the window sills on more than one occasion. And we also have some in the window in the bathroom but you can't scrub it out, it's like it's in the paint or something. Creepy. Our landlords suck ass and never fix anything so I'm not holding my breath. We too have 3 small kids (6, 5, and 1) and are afraid for their health. Pets too. I really thought I was the only one! So good to see this "group" around!
Any idea's or advice please e-mail me at LadyLeonard84@aol.com
Thanks!

Heh heh... well, you could always attach an external phallus to it. I find its tazer stylin' a plus! |

I bought the ZOOM for our radio station the other day and it looks like a tazer. It's been interesting trying to use it for vox-pops - walking up to people and pointing this weird thing space gun in their faces - they are more comfortable with the traditional phallus-style mic. In terms of sound and recording, I've had nothing but good reports so far. |

[ UPD: Escape Beta 3 ]
I will next time I post about it (I really want to get the next Escape release out soon, so that'll be a good time, but my research paper deadline has to come first..). Maybe in the meantime you can use the 'end' key to avoid so much scrolling? |

I think that's a great idea! If it were up to me, though, I still say your level is much better. :) |

John, I guess it's up to Henri to "judge" what we've done to his level, isn't it?
And rouge-like-like is still my favorite one...
YES, Tom, a ZERO for never ending scrolling down, all the way down, it's just boring.
;-)
I'm looking forward to a new blog, new, just NEW, starting all up there, in the beginning, on top of a page! Is it really impossible to create a new folder? A one the starts just on top of a new page?

Speaking of zeros, please read the message I posted on the page for my latest level, "Not Enough Block Shortage." I'm officially sick of this. |

I'm looking at the Zoom H4 now.. it's sad that it doesn't have a drum machine and it seems like the interface might be a bit too complicated. But Smartmedia is just so shitty and hard to find. I wish they made the PS04 with SD or CF. |

I actually own a zoom PS-04 and the battery connectors in back became loose/flakey so now it only works with a wall-adapter ... but ... What can you expect from the "mostest cheapest" option? the built in omni microphone on that thing works great, effects are fun, built in drum machine (or just setup a click click click pattern), etc, etc. It's "old-school cassette walkman" sized. |

I just know that they definitely have things like that. Homefries has one. It's a 4-track the size of a pack of cards and records to... I don't know what, but she can transfer everything from it onto her computer to mix stuff down. It's sample rate is something like 32 kHz, though, which I thought was its weakest point. But anyway, yeah, I guess I'm just saying that stuff like that exists. She got that thing years ago, so I'm sure that newer and better stuff is around now... |

I had the a really discuting bathroom and it was barely ever clean but there was a leak in the drain pipe and the floor often got wet and the wood floor was kinda rotten because of it. But for some reason the mushroom grew on the outer wall of the bathroom where my bedroom was. They were so cute and I wanted to know i they were edible and why they grew in the house and not outside? Can you grow mushroom without soil and seeds, if so, how? |

Huh, that's pretty darn good... I'd prefer something that uses MD or some media I can archive... smartmedia is hard to find and kinda expensive. But that's probably the best I've seen so far. |
