so you're saying you wouldn't trust a fire marshall who had tats and a nose piercing?

No, nothing wrong with tattoos and piercings... I was just trying to point out that this was just some guy, I think someone from the bar across the street, not like a fire marshal telling us that it was a gas leak.

Oh no, I didn't realize I shouldn't trust people with nose rings and tattoos. And to think I have even been friends with so many, or lovers! I need to learn my lesson...

This is the poo, I can't believe it.
This was going to be my first stop when I got home. Now I'll have to find another place to find very tiny hamburgers...

Oh man... Harris was my favorite restaurant! Beer and bacon on Tuesdays was the highlight of my week!

Holy crap! What suck...

This is like the summer of fire or something; here in Palo Alto, a bunch of office space above a Subway and a Walgreens caught fire right in the middle of downtown (4 alarms, baby, take that), but of course, Harris Grill means a lot more to me than some random Subway and Walgreens.

Harris Grill was great, one of the best porches in pittsburgh.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Apparently the reason the FD took so long to get there is that they were busy with another fire on Negley at the time the call came in, so other units had to come to Ellsworth.

I don't know so many of the Of Montreal musics, but I think that "Rapture Rapes The Muses" is my personal favorite song.

Hi all,

Got really freaked out and somewhat embarrassed a few days ago... Boyfriend found it and I picked it up and got rid of it. Was wearing a bandanna on my mouth & nose so I wouldn't breathe in spores (I'd advise people to do that, esp. if there's powder coming out when 'shrooms are disturbed!) Told my boyfriend "Let's not tell anybody we know!!" Sprayed the area w/Tilex type cleaner (supposed to kill mold) will see if it comes back... I wonder if we could have carried spores on our clothes from a stroll in the woods or something?

Anyway, it's a bit reassuring to see that other people have this problem too... If the 'shrooms come back, I might try TKO, too :-)

Hershals farm: I'd like for you to play with us but I'm forced to conclude that you're being intentionally disruptive. Please be friendly or I'll have to exclude you.
(Others: I'm deleting a lot of very long, repetitive comments here.)

Just because it takes forever and I don't have any space on my server (and, like I said, most of the songs are bad!). I'm going to get a new server when I finish my dissertation, so maybe then i will have room for massive collections of things.

Tom, you're right. I need to listen to all 900 of the songs before I can say for sure... what's good.

Why don't you render them all in ultra high quality audiophile FLAC and upload one of those BitTorrent thingies?

6063. Tom 7 (gs82.sp.cs.cmu.edu) – 07 Aug 2007 18:08:15 T7es 2007 ]
No envelope necessary. I think what you're hearing is the fact that I use 32nd and 64th note portamentos on the noise channels, which probably also creates a volume difference because lower pitched noise sounds less loud. Ok so maybe there is an enevelope and it goes "whishhhhh".

6062. jcreed (ahost.einetwork.net) – 07 Aug 2007 17:39:25 T7es 2007 ]
Damn, those two are quite sweet. What's the envelope like on the swooshy percussion in Rutgers?

How will you know until you listen to 900 of them?

I'm only a completist with regards to the _good_ T7ES songs. And I think I have all 5.

Careful, now... you're veering dangerously close to descent into Grelling's paradox.
