K: Yeah, though the majority of the new levels have been sort of neophyte stuff. Most of the old standbys have been silent for a while. Speaking of which.. can we expect any levels from you anytime soon? =)
Y: Thanks for the encouragement, but don't hold your breath; sourceforge may take a while. The sad thing is that I can totally compile Escape on OS X machines that I have access to, but they are newer versions, so if I do, then the version of Escape that I build won't work on early versions of OS X. Urgh. |

C: I left a bookmark in it, but I still feel like I have to finish Infinite Jest (which I am totally enjoying, it's just... really long) first. I think that I don't read books with "history" or "love" in their titles, which means that Krauss's book might be in double trouble, but if you stick it in front of my eyes and say forthwith, it might still happen.
S: Sort of. He wanted to know about some destroyfx software, but it wasn't one of my plugins (Sophia, did you get his mail?) so I couldn't really help him. He did seem kind of interested in plugin programming and Max/MSP kind of stuff though. If only he were like, "What multiparidigm typed programming language should I write my next certifying compiler in?" |

I'm looking forward to reading his second book "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" (?). I read the first three pages of that and found myself laughing a great deal. I might also recommend "A History of Love" (cough, a terrible title, I know), by Nicole Krauss. She's Foer's wife and a gifted writer all her own. |

By the way, I fixed the problem on OSX with resizing the window! Unfortunately, the sourceforge compile farm servers are down for OSX, and they have been for like a month. As soon as they are fixed I will release a version with the fix (and a bunch of small stuff I have been working on over the last few months). |

I can't really make it work the way you want, because midnight happens at different times around the world. Also, I don't really know when people go to sleep. But I can make it at least round up so that 40-something hours does show up as two days, which I will do. |

I heard about the Oakland riots, and we actually saw one of the overturned cars and some fires on the Cathedral of Learning webcam. But we were in Squirrel Hill, which is pretty much the safest part of pittsburgh I can think of. |

i'm actually planning to buy apacer's audio steno... (their cheapest one)...but was discouraged by your experience.
is that thing with the jack the same for all apacer products (mp3 players)?
