but now its all 3wave. i try to play ra3 but its really really hard b/c the guys r invisable to me.. something happened with the models that i cannot fix and now all i see are gun flying around. its fun but really really hard lol... just some glitch i cant seem to fix |

SUP SUP damn this ting is STILL going?!!?!?!
i have beat every level (even nightmare) without doing dirty little tricks or using cheats.. its not that hard when you have been playing Threewave CTFS (multiplayer mod i suggest everyone gets) and hitting 40-60rail with a 30% lighting to boot. Once you learn to use all the weapons it is ez to beat him w/o even dieing. Just learn to stay around health/armor so when he rails u, you have time to get the health/armor b4 the next rail. Meanwhile you can get the rail shot u have been waiting for.. or hope he missed and ur full everything, just go in with a rail shot... miss or not then rox at his feet to pop him up... get a quick rail in and hes dead, that simple.

Hi there , i loved reading this thread, it is really invincible when u see all the fucking dates hahaha anyway, im still playing quake 3, 1 year now, i did all levels to nightmare BUT --> BUT Q3DM18 = omg, major is skilled much better then the other bitch comps. Anyway ill got it someday. Hmmm what i have to see about xaero...

Cause he made me frustated so much ahahhaha
Anyway i beat him in straight fight, without trix or stupid falls hiding behind pillar etc. Finish with 10-8 i was so -> YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I KILL U BITCH ! MWHAHAHAHAHAH SO HAPPY lol. Tell me if u people are still alive and well, and wanna me to make a demo of any arenas ur desire. nLogic: Huh, I've never noticed this in OSX. Is it perhaps because you're switching to another application (or another application pops up, like an instant message?) while the key is held? That seems to be a problem on Windows. (For instance, if you alt-tab out of the game.) Unfortunately, it's a bug in the graphics/IO library I'm using, so it will be harder for me to fix than if it were a bug in the game itself. |

Stephan: It was a deliberate choice not to allow that, since I'm trying to minimize the amount of "hidden information" possible in levels. Sometimes you can force the player or a bot to push a block atop a panel as the level starts, if you want to achieve the same effect--but then at least the player sees it happen.
(You can, however, put broken bots on panels to start.)
I was thinking about the one-way floor (and drew some crummy graphics, as you saw), but it will actually be tricky to implement (not because of any interesting reason, just lack of foresight back in 1996 and then again in 2003). I'll probably make it eventually, but it's generally pretty easy to make one-way devices in Escape out of other tiles for now. |

I'm using Escape on Mac OS 10.4.1. Every now and then, a key I press gets "stuck" and it behaves as though I was holding it down, even though I only pressed once. The repeating happens immediately, unlike when I intentionally hold down and there is a pause before repeating. The result, of course, is the little dude suddenly flying across the screen for no discernible reason.
It happens in all directions, so I don't think it is a keyboard problem. It is pretty rare, maybe once every 40 games. I don't think I seen in any programs other than Escape. |

It would be nice if spheres and movable blocks could start life placed on a panel. The would allow for some deeper puzzles and potentially smaller levels. (Of course, this could also be abused by creating levels which were extremely difficult because the panels needed were 'hidden' under spheres or blocks.)
Also, are you planning on making 'one-way' floor? I see the light-green arrows in the lower center of tiles.png. This too could make for interesting puzzles. |

I'm stupid, too. Oddly, I'm in the top 10% of my class and I scored a 1290 on the NEW SAT so I really bombed my college future. Ever since I got my score, I began to set my college standards low, searching for the easiest schools to get into. :( I hate my life. |

I found what i think is a mushroom growing in my bedroom which is right beside the bathroom where we had a shower leak. But it was unlike any mushroom I've ever seen. It was a light color and reminded me of pig skin wadded up. I would like to know what kind it is and if its poisonous. |

Bug: in the 200505210 version, the death-by-dalek animation sometimes is displayed underneath the dalek, only super-imposing after the last frame. So the electrocution is effectively hidden for a few seconds.
This doesn't happen every time and is possibly affected by the directions the dalek and the player are moving at the time of collision
