btw : it's a pity the demo of WiKeDGoD isn't there anymore - i'd really love to see somebody beating that monster in a straight fight. people come up. |

Hmm, strange. SDL should be able to tell what key you're pressing, so ? should work. I just made it so num+ work too (next version). |

cool, i just beat him 10:4 at hardcore with the first try since months.
it's very easy if you stay behind the pillar next to the point where he will land after using the jumppad to reach the platform you're on. when you hear the sound of the pad, hit him with the rail, hide behind the pillar to reload, hit him again. you can also kill him with the rail gun before he picks it up.
i'll try to beat him on nightmare now, wish me luck :-) |

My keyboard is not the US standard keyboard, so to see the "more options", I have to press <:> instead of <?>
Suggestion:
Instead of using <?> for more options, use <ctrl><+> (num keyboard plus sign).

Hi...nice eternal thread
Quake 3 Arena is my favourite MP game. I love the graphics, which still look pretty today. I like the sounds, because they are full of oomph, and the eerie music. I love how it is fast and frantic, and you have to really work to earn each frag - no cheesey headshots. I love the gothic feel. And the game is so fun, really putting pure gameplay to the fore. It just has got "IT", something I feel other games don't.
I have completed it on Hardcore a few times, and now I'm slowly attempting Nightmare - but it is damn hard.
And does anyone play Team Arena? It's the coolest add on! The only thing I don't like about it is the generic models |

Hah, yeah.
Quake 3 is one of those games I'll probably never delete, because it's so much fun to fire it up and take out those bots. They really achieved a great feel in that game. |

You should be able to register on both computers now; just press R. But the server won't share the solutions between the two accounts for you.

I have downloaded Escape on two separate computers with the same username, and only one of them has the speedruns stored. However, I think I have registered the other one instead...
What can I do to get the other one registered? |
