Are the solutions for the levels stored on the server? It would be great to be able to download the solutions and have the game give hints by running through the solution one step at a time. At any point the player could stop the hints and continue on there own.

No, no, the internets are just for spreading rumors.

No, I intend for the game to always be free.

I've taken some care to make the game secure against internet malice. Since it only talks to my server, it should be fairly safe (at least as safe as running Escape in the first place!). I keep pretty close tabs on the levels that people upload, so I wouldn't worry about getting hacked.

Hey Miki!! Long time no see. ;) I'm pretty good, still in school (now working on a PhD) for a few more years at least, and still up to lots of crazy projects...

Actually, I have tried to look you up before, but couldn't find your page anywhere. It's good to see that you have one now, and actually, it looks really nice. I really like the "shittyrail" piece. Are you in design school now? I remember you were always talking about doing fashion design some day...

Cool, Jakub!

I have wanted to support "skins," which would allow the user to choose different tile graphics, for some time. Having this around will probably convince me to add that functionality faster. ;) Thank you!

lol, that is the point - WebTV doesn't have that, and probably never will. Nor the "smart cards" that were promised in the propaganda that never materialized, for which we have a portal.

but, at school I have access to them new-fangled kompewtrrs, so I will check it out there ;-)
