I'm surprised to see you don't have any Bogdan Raczynski albums on your CD list, so I'll recommend him. Some of his music actually reminds me of your tracks - some old skool 8-bit-style, fun singing, math lyrics. And I read somewhere that he made one of his albums in a day, but I can't find any reference to that anywhere now.

Maybe week or month might be more appropriate.. I do remember another Tom7 moment at work a couple months ago when I needed to replicate a company logo. The proper typeface must not be ignored, and it turned out that Tahoma bold was the closest font we had to the logo.

Haha. Is day really the appropriate timescale?

My Tom7-moment-of-the-day just happened... While listening to my mp3s at work and Shithope was playing, I alt-tab to our stock-art library and I click on the search field - the search term from my previous search was visible as "Rope", and I hear you sing "check the tightROPE".

So true, Tom7. And so sad. I hope it won't come to that.
But hey, you did your best!

I voted and it feels good. What a nice day!
BTW: You do NOT need your voter registration card to vote. They tried to tell me I did, but the MoveOn peeps hooked me up. All you need is a driver's license or passport.

Yes, almost like a mirror image...

Well, it is a mirror image in a very real sense! In some other pictures you can actually pick out the detail of the moon.

Great photos! It is kind of eerie how that lens flare almost seems like a weird mirror image...

I have a Canon D60. I used a fairly nice macro lens for this (100mm F/2.8), although it's really not the right lens for the job -- something with a longer focal length, even sacrificing aperture, would be cheaper and do better. But I don't have such a lens.

What sort of camera do you have? I don't really know how to get detail this good for the moon...
