It's actually part of the thesis style file, I guess as a joke on the interminableness of the process. I'll feel better after I defend!

You'd be forgiven for only reading the first 228 pages, and letting Twelf read the rest for you.

A third but compelling possibility is that I've had too much to drink.

On the one hand I imagine the first page was read enough times so that a typo is unlikely, on the other hand if there is a joke present I don't get it.

I was going to read it before going to bed but then it turned out 381 pages is a lot.

Sup dude. Love these songs, I downloaded all of them. Thanks for sharing. I like that fact that a most of them don't use any drums, it makes them feel even more minimal. Kudos to you. Also thanks for the mml to midi tool. If you ever want to check out my chiptunes or just say hello, look me up under the moniker "kid versus chemical". I have a myspace page and my actual website should be up soon with tons of free music.

Peace.

ok, soooo i'm a junior and i took the PSAT and i got a 1380.
so if i got that in the PSAT, is it really a reflection of what i'll do in the SAT?

and will i get into a good college if i had a score a little bit higher than that, like a 1400 or something? so far, my gpa is about 2.5 - 2.8.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'll probably do something like that. The next big project for escape (I am finishing up my dissertation this week and then hope to have some time for projects over the break) is to revamp the level selector to enable better sorting, etc. One of the things I was planning is to sort by recent activity, so that you can see the levels that you've been playing recently. This would probably help with finding the levels you've bookmarked, but it would also make sense to display a bookmark icon so that you know at a glance why they're "recent"...

Wow, I didn't know Peter was your external member. I know him. He was one of the lecturers at the Oregon summer school of which I speak so highly.

Hi Tom, for bookmarks, I was thinking that if you bookmark a level then it would put a "B" in front of it like the check mark when you've completed a level. And then having an option to sort by them. Hope that make sense.

Sometimes when I bookmark a level, I forget the name of it and then I have a hard time finding it.

ejg: It's hard to count, because I have a lot of solutions stored from deleted levels and stuff like that, but I currently have 1104/1296 for triage. I have not been keeping up well this semester, so most of the unsolved ones are new levels.

Anon: You mean by the number of bookmarks, or what?

How about having an option to sort by bookmarks?

Graue: No, in fact, one of the biggest open problems with my work is how to compile distributed programs securely when some of the hosts are controlled by attackers. Every distributed language has this problem, but in some ways it is exacerbated by higher-level language features. I think it is solvable (in fact there are some reasonable solutions out there); it's just not something I'm trying to do in my thesis.

Rob: ML5/pgh+Server 5 are about 1/75th the size of the Linux kernel. I don't think it's an interesting comparison, though, because they're written in very different languages!

I would like to see a calibration of the L.O.C. in your compiler vs. the Linux kernel :-D

That sounds naughty.

I almost want to go see your defense though it would probably be over my head. Is it about security per se?
