Sadly it shrinks the images quite a lot for e-mail, in fact. I recognize it is a bit big here. In a future iteration I will automatically generate a somewhat smaller thumbnail. Right now my talk for TGC is more pressing... |

cool things in Philly:
- eat at the Magic Carpet food truck -- delicious vegetarian food, just a block away from Levine Hall (ask any local). I think i always liked the thing with "ninja" in the name...
- Center City is nice, east of campus along Walnut Street, for example. Around 20th and Walnut is Rittenhouse Square, a nice little ritzy park with some coffee shops around it.
- For running, there is a dog park. I think it's the one labelled "City Park" on Google Maps, around 11th and Lombard.
- Also, Old City is pretty cool, by the water. I think there is a neat monument/park/thing around S. Columbus and Chestnut, on the Deleware.
- South Street has good nightlifeish things. Camden is not recommended.
cool things in Nice:
- see the Old City here, too, if you get a chance -- "Vieux Nice" in the lingua franca.
- Climb the stairs of the Colline du Chateau for an awesome view of the city. |

Found little mushrooms like y'all in the shower. Looked like little soft fleshy bits of pasta. One was bigger than a 2 litre milk bottle lid!
They grow quick too. Sometimes i go away for the weekend and they're there. Ive only been here for a few weeks and find myself really tired all the time. The smelly bathroom tells me something is not quite right. I hate the smell and am worried about my health too. Has anyone used anything yet and it REALLY worked?
1) TKO
2) Salt (iodised)
3) Hydrogen Peroxide
4) Bleach (i dont think this REALLY works. Just adds to the problem / it may be a temporary solution)
Any suggestions or SUCCESSFUL remedies? |

Hi, I don't know how often people reply to this forum since , but I thought I'd ask anyway.
I took the SAT twice and here are my scores:
-----1st-----
Critical Reading: 710
Math: 780
Writing: 680 - essay:7
-----2nd-----
Critical Reading: 760
Math: 750
Writing: 640 - essay:9
I have a 3.99 unweighted G.P.A, top 2% of my class, president/chair/secretary/treasurer of clubs, and work part time in a professional environment(vs. fast food).
Should I still apply to any Ivy League? If so, which one(s)?

i had problem of mushrooms in the bathroom , this first time it happen i am from the philippines, i tried removing it but after a week it came back , so what i did is i scraped it again (so smelly and yucky you would really puke)then put hydrogen peroxide(aqua oxinada) the spot where i scraped the mushrooms, it was bubly when i first apply the hydrogen peroxide, i splash it over and over again with hydrogen peroxide until theres no bubbles anymore then, i put iodized salt then after that i put cement again on top of it, very thick one, well so far it has not come back.you might one to try it. |
