No problem, fair enough.
I saw this new info on Elliott Smith in my Last.fm audioscrobbler thingy. |
| |
Huh, interesting... I remember people talking about this years ago but I figured it was just conspiracy theory.
The ban on 'http' only applies to old posts and is to block spam, sorry about that... |
| |
The police now leaves all options open:
"Smith died in 2003, aged 34, from two apparently self-inflicted stab wounds to the chest. However, as of 2006, the evidence surrounding his death remains inconclusive."

What exactly is it? Rather, what SHOULD it sound like? |

heh, yes...
It's hard when I don't even know whether it's a bug or not, just that it doesn't sound how I think it should, you know? |

Regarding the bug in the Destroy FX plugin, did you try looking at the source code to find it? |

The first project is to make the bookmarks menu able to work like the VCR in the solution manager, so that you can do all of the normal playing things when watching a solution (like zooming). |

Good question. The Destroy FX plugin didn't sound quite right (probably because of a bug I couldn't find) which was discouraging. I may give it another shot because I think it's a good idea, but I didn't make the contest deadline. The AAD rewrite is still on deck... |

Speaking of coding, whatever happened to the new DFX plugin & AAD rewrite? |

[ Bathroom? Mushroom! ]
I had mushrooms growing on my kitchen floor. There had been a leak
from the kitchen sink. The cabinets were moldy, and then I found the
fungus thing. It was sort of, uhm, like a hard white foam. Very tough and fibrous- had to saw it off with a knife. Then a bunch of the lanoleum tiles were loose, and there was white fungus under the
one next to where the mushroom type thing grew.
I had the leak fixed, and sprayed a LOT of bleach all over the inside of the cabinets. I reglued all the loose cabinets. Where the fungus was
growing, I put a very toxic anti-bacterial, anti-fungal product. It's made for killing all sorts of germs in a veterinarian type situation... kills
off contageous diseases, etc. I normally avoid using any toxic chemicals, but this seemed like a good time to make an exception. The mold seems to have stopped growing, and I imagine things are drying out pretty well now under the floor. It's been at least 4 months
since I've seen any mushroom growth. That whole area of the floor is sort of warped and swollen, though... I think the particle board beneath the lanoleum floor tiles got first swollen with moisture, then invaded with mold. It is gross. But I think it may be under control now, as long as the area stays dry (I live in a very dry climate). |

Man, I wanted to do one of those... |

(SPOILERS)
Yeah, in retrospect I should have hidden that better. ROLing hc won't work, because whatever is rotated needs to have type wchar_t. I think XORing word[i] to set the high bit would have been more innocent-looking. |
