Yeah that is an exact number but it allows automated systems rather than bot based systems and it also allows for signal splitting up to 4 signals per element and can be placed in the bizarro world.
I will finish the logic system soon. |
|
Even with a new element like that, how many cells could even fit in the board size limits? I can't imagine more than 9... |

After finding our mushroom, I called the insurance agency -- mold is NOT covered by homeowner's insurance. We had a mold specialist come out and do air samples to see if our mold was toxic. He also brought a cool infared scanner with him and went over the whole house. This showed where the moisture was coming from so we knew how big a problem we had. Found out the in our case there was a leak in the shower caulk that ran down the outside of the shower into a crack in the caulk on the floor. We were lucky and caught ours early. never thought I'd say this, but thank God for mushrooms. |
|
Simple: each cell requires 8 output pulses and 2 display pulses = 2.5 bots per cell = 6 cells max |
|
Maybe I don't understand, but can't you make that with a bot and a button? |
|
New idea:
Stuck Button
Simple, emits a pulse each step(after all bots move).
Would help to finish the structure for a working life cell. |

i think 0xCAFEBABE reminds me of a Juliana Hatfield song. And I mean that in a good way (in case you're not a Juliana fan). |

I THINK IT IS A WORK OF ART, AND YOU SHOULD TAKE A PHOTO OF IT AND FRAME THEM AND SELL THEM. IT LOOKS LIKE A FLOWER FROM OUTER SPACE. BEAUTIFUL. SCH |

Okay, impressions grab-bag time. The attributes I think I get are the Black Rock and Cow Cud is a Twin. I got a real Lincoln-era TMBG vibe from Text me where's the Rite Aid at, maybe because of the whimsical-sounding delivery masking what seems to be earnestly sad content. The way many of the songs segue together is lovely, making this album sound more albumy than others. I definitely think songs with both drums and singing have way more gravitas, so I was happy to hear some of those. So yeah! Definitely your best album since sk7 or die!!!
Man, fully half of the 2009 music releases in my iTunes are bands where you are in the band or you are the band. Not sure if that means you are awesome, or I need to explore new music, or both! |

Mosquito Romance and Why Won't It Melt in head all day!! |
|
Great! Yeah, that one is stuck in my head today. I won't try to explain what fault you should find with it. |
|
Also I love Mosquito Romance. Whatever you thought was jarring doesn't bother me. |
|
This is fun stuff. The two you mentioned are great. I'll Be Acquitted is easy to love, with the stupid jokes. I also like Why Won't it Melt a lot. One has to wonder what is he trying to mail, and why doesn't he mind melting it.
I think your electronic music would make great hard levels of the Bit.Trip games. |

oh wow "text me" is great. |
|
That guitar is quite rude, I like it. Plus, these songs reminded me that 1) my eponymous hurricane is like top 5 in all possible death-and-destruction measuring categories (ha) and 2) I watched ~80% of possible Terminator movie-time in the last month. Excellent.
Also, you should continue your AAD streak with a SR&SR recording day - surely there are like a bajillion unrecorded songs at this point. |
|
Good stuff--and yay for Pixies and Pavement references! |
|
PS. I know I need to update the AAD page; my apologies to all of the contributors whose wares have been unnoted (having an album of my own to post usually gets me off my ass). But, um, the real point is the act of creation! |
