i'm quite surprised you didn't 'heart' 'good bike heaven' on 'exile on atari street'! it's such an excellent song! |

I think Adhesion means that I, Scrap Heap, should fear for my record. Right?
And heh, I don't try to listen to all my music. I just enjoy the fact that I can shuffle and hear something totally different and new.

Thanks trousers! If you want to marry me you gotta get a ring or something. |

Damn, I have like a year's worth of AADs I have to submit now. Needless to say, you should fear for your record.
Also, I commend you for attempting ListenQuest again. I've been basically trying to listen to all the music on my hard drive for like a year and a half and I've barely made a dent in it. It is some brutal work, my friend. |

Yay! I was wondering what was going on when you didn't even update the AAD page when you completed your last AAD... um...a buot a year ago. Looks like I have some work ahead of me.
I understand the 'listen through' thing. Currently, I'm in the process of listening to all my MP3 CDs. I had a spindle of about 100 CDs that I started with. That took me approximately a year to get through, listening to anywhere between 4 to 8 hours a day at work. My current count stands at: Songs: 12511 Time : 801h 05m 07s
I've done the same thing with my CDs (~1000) and cassettes (~700). Both took me about a year. At one point I had listened to all of my LPs (~500 - 600) and 45s (I have no idea... probably in the ear of ~700) but not 78s. I don't know how long that took other than 'years'.
P.S. Congrats on finishing up your paper. Well done laddy! |

Wow!! all these songs are amazing! I love them so much. I do not have a favorite or a least favorite i adore them all equaly. Marry me. |
| |
I will update forever. Please enqueue them, if you like. |

[ BAD SAT SCORES ]
Okay, I'm really starting to buckle down and search for colleges I'm a high school Junior and my GPA is like a 3.4 or 3.5 and I'm in loads of extracurricular stuff. Spanish Club, Media Center Club, Drama Club, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Prom Committee and Yearbook Staff (which I'll be the editor of next year). On top of all that I volunteer with our local Red Cross Youth Board (Executive Committee) and some how I manage all this with a part time job. I recently took the SAT and recieved a 1730 (pretty mediocre, I know) Critical Reading: 570, Math: 570, Writing: 590. So I was wondering if NYU would even give my application a second glance? |
| |
Oh shit. I recorded several new ones which I didn't submit because I thought you would never update the website again.

Person who got 1600, the national average is 1500, so depending on what college u want to go to, your score might be ok :) |

Ok. so I got 2000 on the SAT's
Crit. Reading: 570
Math: 720
Writing: 710
Honestly, I was so happy about my score when i saw it, I nearly pissed my pants because I thought I could finally go to the school I wanted. But then I went to school and all my genius asian friends said that because they got 1960, they bombed and would never get into college. Even 2 ppl who got OVER 2100 said their scores weren't good enough and that their going to take it again.
I want to go to UC Berkeley and major in astrophysics. HELP. Honestly, if I only have an unweighted GPA of 3.714, can I get in with a 2000? I appreciate any response. Thanks guys. |

my crotch has strange sores growing on it. |

I love it with the clouds! Can't wait for open mike nights :) I bet you guys are sick and ridiculous. |

I wholeheartedly concur (about bike clothes, not one-item lists, which are just fine). But the biking crowd wears them voluntarily, and there are no competing non-absurd styles, so one might argue that the bikers deserve to look as ridiculous as they do. |

Dear Tom,
Your open letters made me laugh out loud so much at work that it caused my coworkers to inquire what was so funny. This laughter destroyed the delicate illusion that I am working when I'm sitting in my cubicle. Fortunately my boss is not in the room, so the possibility of personal consequences is remote. However, my coworkers are now likely to feel more comfortable goofing off in their own cubicles, and a spiraling decline in productivity in the entire federal government is likely to commence. Thanks a lot.
Somewhat sincerely yours,
Josh |

This other guy's blog is also hilarious: http://ekarj.com/
This post reminded me of an open letter:
Just because the face of a clock is oriented so that 12 is the start of a new day doesn’t mean 12pm has the right to follow 11am. Where I come from, you don’t count up a series of something and then randomly switch units. If one begins a sequence of AM hours in a base-12 numbering scheme, one would eventually expect to arrive at 12am. But you get to 12 and all of a sudden PM bursts in all like, “Who wants lunch, bitches?” Where the fuck did you come from? What have you done with 1pm through 11pm? Oh, you mean to tell me we’re going to count through those hours now? After we’ve just put up with 12pm’s childish antics? Go fuck yourself, time.

hey everyone! stop freakin out! people get into colleges, it just depends on whether its the one you Want to get in to. ok, i have to admit, 1100-1500s are pretty bad, but if u have an amazing gpa, it'll balance out! colleges look at the rigor of ur studies too, dont take all easy classes, participate in extra activites, and do service hours. that should help a lot :D
ok..college board has a perfect college matchmaker for all yall who are worried. go check it out! |
