Interesting. I got online to do some research because I too have some sort of fungus growing in my bathroom. I'm relieved I'm not the only one and that it's not a "cleanliness" issue. The fungus I have is growing out of the base of our toilet. I actually thought it was the wax seal leaking out at first and so did my husband. He reached down to touch it and freaked out when it was cold and wet feeling. If you've ever replaced a toilet you know the color I'm talking about for the wax seal. It has the same waxy look to it in the older mushroom. In the smaller new ones that are popping up they are almost clear, more of a pale milky yellow. The older fungus we found also doesn't have a cap on it but has almost like... petals for lack of a better description and those petals start curling under. I'm going to take a picture of it today before removing it all and putting down salt.

Thanks for all the advise. We have a leak under our tiles apparently so I'll soon be seeing how many more are under the toilet when I pull it up. What fun!

Hi! This is my second interaction with mushrooms in my bathroom. It is growing out of a wall between the standing shower and toilet (much closer to the shower) I cleaned and re-sealed the shower, and after a few months the mushrooms returned. It seems to grow in the same spot. The house is 18 years old, however I purchased it about 3 years ago. Any suggestions? Thanks

FYI. Here's something odd I noticed, the level spiral? (1466) shows Jorty as author but in the solution manager the "original" shows Josh as author??

You can set the author name to anything you want when you upload (though if it's a mod please give credit where due). Speedruns and comments use the name you registered with, though. So they might be different...

I'm a student in Australia and I just did the SAT I and I got a score of 2150. I'm planning to apply to all the Ivys. I do some volunteer work, sport and are in some clubs but I don't think I do as much as you Americans do. Should I retake my SATs and try to aim for a perfect score or just try to pick up my school grades? We don't have a GPA system so I don't know how to work mine out.

Tutorial 21: You can't destroy the bottom laser. You need the bots to push the button to open up the blue floor, but they'll only start walking over when the panel is depressed. What could you use to press down that panel for a long time?

I need a hint for Tutorial 21 - I can destroy the blue block and the top laser, but can't destroy the bottom laser or get to the switch. What am I missing?

atariboy: Once you've solved a level you can see the speedruns by clicking on 'bookmarks' and then 'download from server'. But not until you've solved it! If you want hints you can try leaving a comment on the specific level you're having trouble with...

I'd never! It may just have my IP address cached, so it'll probably start working again in a few days. (Or you might have success clearing the cache.)

For a couple of weeks recently, I found one or two tall, skinny mushrooms growing against the carpet and the baseboard in the hallyway just outside my bathroom. "Curious", I first thought. I pulled it up, played scientist under the magnifying glass for a while, lost interest, then discarded it. Then grew another in almost the same spot. Then another. Each time I have removed them, another would appear. Now, I was more than curious but alarmed. (I must be a slow learner.) I told my husband I thought perhaps we had some water damage in the walls which had caused them. He played it off like I didn't know what I was talking about. I told him it could possibly lead to mold. I have had serious sinus infections lately and have been tired a lot. I've even had nasal surgery. I know these can be symptoms of mold or fungus circulating in the air. I have also noticed small black spots along the floorboards and down a seam in a corner behind the curtains in our bedroom. I hope this is not what is termed "black mold." We need to have this situation looked into soon, soon and very soon! I KNOW of what I speak, but this man doesn't want the expense of checking it out and ridding ourselves of the problem. I've been wanting to sell the house, but it will never sell with these problems going on. He won't say so, but I think my husband has treated the carpet with something in an attempt to SELF-SOLVE the situation (Cheapo), because now instead of mushrooms growing, there seems to be some type of white grangular material spreading in that area. Looks and feels like plaster of paris or chalk. Could it be lime? I'm beside myself. My health problems are becoming worse. I can't stay here. How do I get this man to understand the seriousness of this situation? Will it take a divorce? Oh, yeah, even HE is having respiratory problems, but he won't admit it. Nothing that a little Claritin can't solve. Can you beat that?!

All of you are so depressing. I mean, I saw this tv show a week ago where they were interviewing the admissions people from all the brand named schools. Dartmouth admissions claimed that they don't even look at the scores at all at first and just use the essays. Only after they split people into good essay and bad essay groups do they even glance at the scores. Dartmouth is the extreme case, but most of the other admissions people said the same thing in some degree.
What I'm trying to say is, scores count only for a teeny bit of your applications. The essays are more important, along with extracurriculars and your involvement in school.
For people trying to go to Stanford, visit their website. My counselor told me that their description of who they're looking for is extremely accurate. If you fit the description, you have a chance.
Hope this helped.

I will, Adam! Can you offer me some Gatorade when I'm there? Because it's like 8 miles from my house... probably longer since I can't run through the tunnels.

You are so lucky to have these steep streets. That must be fun. I don't think we have any like that around here.

I ran down a pretty steep street when I was in San Francisco, but I didn't see Filbert and 22nd. Too bad -- it looks like I really missed out on those Filbert Steps.
