The change of heart is just that I am trying to eliminate unnecessary and arbitrary policies that I adopted on a whim, apparently to make life more challenging. Friendster seems a lot safer anyway than say, Orkut. Fewer Brazilians too.
Are there really anti-social networking sites? ;) |

For those whose anti-social networking sites policy is still in place, what lead to your change of heart? I still find friendster vaguely creepy.
I like collecting candy you don't eat too! Candy is still good for having, even though the thrill of the eating wore off long ago. |

I am also finding nanowrimo a struggle from the sheen of "omg a novel in a month" having worn off a bit by the third time. |

Addendum: Since Friendster makes you type in the last name of the persons you befriend, I have been tested dozens of times today, and impressed with my own ability to recall and correctly spell these names, even for people I don't know that well. (Y'all still my friends like candy, though.) |

I don't know much about singularity except what I've heard through the grapevine. I think this kind of OS is totally the future, though. I also think that when it happens, it won't be written in C#. |

If you have respiratory problems and fungus, I'd say to see a doctor!
Obviously you should also tell the landlord... |

I JUST FOUND ONE IN MY BATHROOM,AND I HAD A LEAK IN THE BACK OF THE TOILET. IT IS GROWING OUT FROM UNDER THE BASE BOARD,RUBBER STUFF, IT IS PALE YELLOW, AND I AM WONDERING IF THERE IS MOLD BEHIND THE WALL OR UNDER THE FLOOR. SHOULD THE MANAGER,REPAIR IT ?? THIS IS SO RUDE !!! IT WOULD SEEM THAT THERE WOULD BE CREEPY STUFF UNDER THE FLOOR.......I HAVE DEVELOPED RESPITORY PROBLEM OVER THE LAST YR, SO I AM THINKING THAT THE SPORES ARE DANGEROUS TO OUR HEALTH. VERY FATIGUED TOO........TOO MUCH SO. CAN ANYONE TELL OF ANYTHING THE DOCS CAN DO FOR THIS PROBLEM INSIDE OUR BODIES...........THIS IS NOT FUNNY. IT APPEARED OVER NIGHT.............TASSY |

Naturally!
I wouldn't mind a more hilly course, but boy, it sure is convenient to start and end up at your own front door, you know? |

Killer deal on improving your running times. Now go try it in Squirrel Hill! I used to run in Shadyside, too, and was quite pleased with the speed I developed over my route. Then we moved to Squirrel Hill and the change in topography almost killed me -- for the same distance as I'd used on my Shadyside course, my times plummeted and I was totally exhausted. It was like being a beginner all over again. Eventually I got my speed up there, too, but it took a while. I was happy with the results, though, as my overall stamina was much greater than it had been. (Homewood and Smithfield Cemeteries are good places to practice running steep hills, if you're interested.)
Anyway, happy running!
p.s. Post the output of your photography expedition soon.

Thanks for showing me the rope, Tom! Now I know how to remove Voltron's appendix. |
| |
You are totally welcome! Did you really take notes? I didn't even notice the dictaphones; very covert.
You know I'm up for a road trip whenever.
In the photo, I think you were holding something, like a broken bit of corsage. It was funny how you handled it so delicately and worked it into a distinguished pose. Tuxedos can make you move in funny ways, huh? |
| |
Hah, that's funny. No, the Voltron guts are from me (from Wikipedia knot photo fame, in fact [eg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highwayman%27s_hitch]) because sometimes a man just ain't got no tape. I think Jason's rope was more metaphorical, and of course it was helpful for printing! |
| |
Oh. Thanks for the rope, Jason. I thought it was just voltron guts. Now I need a very short mountain to climb. |
| |
And an italic bold strikethrough underline YES!!!! to the idea of N*SANO shirts. |
| |
It turns out the rope wasn't actually that useful for printing, but I thought I'd bring it anyway, in case any, you know, bottomless pits showed up. |
| |
Awesome! Next step is N*SANO T shirts! |
