And what do they mean exactly by 'kilobyte'? Kilobytes of 'actual broadband traffic' (whatever encapsulation they use), or kilobytes of IPv4/IPv6 packets? And is it kilobytes (10^3 bytes = 1000 bytes) or kibibytes (2^10 bytes = 1024 bytes)(also called 'big kilobytes')? |

I have a stall shower in my apartment, and I also have a mushroom that grows out from under it. It will grow out from under the shower in about 2 days, then dies, and right away a new one takes its place. Thing is, it looks nothing like the picture at the top of the page. |

wow, that's cool. chess rankings would flatten out, assuming everyone gets to play white as much as black.
truly this is dangerous knowledge. |

Hey Tom, I had a dream a couple nights ago that I called you to tell you I had just finished an AAD, and you said several other people had as well that day, including you, and suggested we get together for an AAD party. So there were maybe seven or eight of us, sitting on benches on opposite sides of a white hallway deep inside the middle of a building, just outside a big white auditorium. We were chatting and I was anxiously awaiting when I would get to play my AAD for everyone.
Someone had done a musical AAD, like Darren Ailes's doppelganger, and we decided we were going to watch it performed. So we stepped out into seats in the auditorium where there was a crowd and all these actors performed the AAD, but it never got to an actual musical part before the dream sequence ended, only talking. The play was anti-Bush or criticizing the Iraq war or something like that, and I wondered if anyone would be irked by its blatant partisanship, but all the AAD makers' murmurs were supportive.

I belive the rules of chess have a similar loophole. Once the game ends, you cannot complain about illegal moves.
Thus, you can win with an illegal move that checkmates the opponent king.

I checked the official rules and they say "end of the turn". They do confirm what I was initially expecting, however: that there is never any penalty for challenging the game-ending play. |

Yes, I was actually thinking about that indefinite extension clause as well. Man I wish board games had like judicial precedent. It would be great if a couple of officers bust down your office door and were like "excuse me sir by the provisions of Milton v. Bradley 2005 I'm going to have to confiscate all your points and blank tiles" |

Mike - don't you then just say "you count up points once the game is over" to fix that? I want to take jcreed's assertion further, or at least differently - if you are the last player, I can challenge you *until I play scrabble again* - it might be MONTHS later, I don't play scrabble much! |

If "The game ends when all letters have been drawn and one player uses his or her last letter" then you shouldn't get any points for the last turn! So go ahead and try the triple word score +50, you can't score them until after you put down your letters, and the game's already over when you do. |

I dispute your qxuavmkery. After you have placed the last tile, no player has taken a turn yet (nor will they ever!) so the time to challenge is still ripe. |

I'm making a new version of the level browser that I hope will be more mouse-friendly. For now I recommend using the keyboard for almost everything. If you like you can use ctrl-v to see unsolved levels first. |

Hi, this is your newest level creator here. I'm always a little frustrated with trying to find unsolved levels I haven't tried yet but it often takes a while to find one. Would it be possible to put scroll bars in Triage, Minor Leagues ect. because that would make things so much more convienent.
Also I had an idea for the wires: you could have a wire block that takes incoming signals from the top and turns them to the right and vice versa and it would do the same for bottom and left signals. Kind of like the top-right and bottom left wire blocks combined.
These are just ideas but i hope they are good ones. |
