CNN was crazy enough to use one of my old fonts on their TV station. Check out the screengrab: Tetanus on CNN! Thanks a lot to "inpheaux skifyre" at skizzers.org for the good eye and fast screen-capture skills.
"I've found a great free product which will spider webpages and extract email addresses. I got your email address in one of the marketing opt-in list I purchesed and thought that this product might help you in your website marketing efforts!"
On my playlist recently is The Party Of Helicopters' new album called Mt. Forever. This is kind of like metal / math rock, but with emo vocals and no ridiculous pretensions of evil death. Similar to Faraquet, occasionally reminiscent of Contra for the NES. (But no sawtooth waves).
OK, the radar system (aka Stalkertron 2000) has been updated to finally distinguish between different categories of items. You'll notice by perusing the backlog that I've been categorizing these since the very beginning; you just haven't been able to see it until now.
I finally put up the code I wrote a very long time to generate random text from a grammar description. This is used for the news flashes on UNTITLEDGIF.ORG and used to make haikus on snoot. You can download this sloppy, undocumented C++ program (and example data) here. (Forgive me, I was young!)
My roommate got a Dreamcast. What a video games addict! I like Jet Grind Radio though. What could be better than a cartoon cell-shaded skateboarding game where you fight the man by spraypainting your logo on the streets of Japan? You can design your own graffiti, too, and we have some good ones.
Another one bites the dust...

Yet another hard drive failure in my AT&T Globalyst ("spacebar"). The machine sort of still works (linux is pretty resilient), but the web server won't start up. I'm in the process of moving content from spacebar.res to dentu.res, which will for the time being (somewhat sleazily) host spacebar.org.
