NEW: (Super) Destroy FX

| We've finally released our Collection of VST plugins. Actually, all of the ones up there now are Marc's, but some prototypes of mine are coming soon. VST is a popular architecture for audio-processing plugins in computer audio apps. |

UPD: lots

Today was the second half of my clearing-my-todo-list weekend. I managed to clear it pretty well, but there are some deceptively small items on there. I concentrated on the things with big writing but a relatively small amount of work. Here's what I did:
- Tombats 7 (a new font, finally)
- Ordered CDRs and Chu Chu Rocket for Dreamcast
- Paid some bills, fixed banking stuff
- Did some work on the software to run the snoot factory and other stuff, though I didn't finish it.
- Modified aphasia to support a new style of links and changed over much of snoot.org to the new format.
- Enhanced the game list for scribble
- Answered some questions at Dr. Snoot (Keith is gonna help with this now)
- I guess that's it.
This week I'm going to take care of lingering work work I'm supposed to do (but which is fun!), which should leave me with a possibly half-empty todo list! |

I updated mlftpd to support the APPEnd command, as well as RESTarting a STORe. It's now almost completely RFC-compliant; the rest has to wait until I port the "basis" socket library to MLton (soon).
Today I plan on clearing some very old items off my todo list, we'll see how that goes. |

ICFP Contest Results

The results from the ICFP Programming Contest are in. Looks like we (tycon mismatch) got 9th place, which out of 150 competing entries is pretty good. Next year we'll win it. =)
(PS: Another independent ranking puts us at 5th place, but don't trust that one so much!) |

After a long day of rollercoasters and bad samurai movies, I wrote a new VST plugin from an idea that popped into my head while I was out. It's called DFX transverb. You can find a sample of the noises it makes at the misc mp3 repository (called "I Transverb") and you can get source code as well.
Marc and I have been working on plugins for a while, and now I'm working on a web page for our collection. You can see a preview of it here, but put on your orange sunglasses... |
