Rejoice! Poindexter is resigning over the (admittedly fascinating) "terror futures market" business. This is the same guy who brought you "Total Information Awareness," a plan for the government to collate all sorts of public databases to track your every move, in order to find out if you are a terrorist (or, whatever they want). This won't be the first time that the criminal resigned from office, but let's not give him another chance.
The Famicompo results are in. I didn't win (not really a surprise), but I did get some honest votes and even some dubious praise: one voter called my song the "best song I shouldn't like." I guess the lesson is that if I want to win one of these, I should learn how to make sounds other than just straight-up square wave. ;) (Vote stuffing wouldn't hurt, either -- look at the winner's vote record.)
Soon I'll post my songs here, as well as my software "midimml" that was used to create them.
Netscape... a moment of silence

Netscape is dead. I guess they've become irrelevant now that the mozilla project produces a superior browser, but it is still sad to see them go. AOL is no longer paying anyone to work on Mozilla, and the new website is totally 2001-chic.
