Here's a big new addition that's been in the works for weeks: Tom 7's Photo Gallery. It's filled with high-res scans (pain-stakingly retouched for your downloading pleasure) of my favorite photos, most of which I took this summer as I begin to get back into photography. Here's a cool page with lots of chess puzzles. These are a specific sort called 'retrograde analysis', where you're given a chess position and essentially need to figure out how the pieces got there. Check out especially the Pedagogical Collection for an introduction. Fun!

Joining the internet's gigantic collection of weird flash movies is this series of bizarre Japanese Panasonic Commercials featuring the "hi-ho" song. Reminds me of the upcoming Powerpuff Girls movie..
